Assuming there was a guy in the area selling reloaded ammo, would you buy from him?

Let's also assume he/she also has a license to manufacture ammo from the ATF and his/her ammo is priced about 20%-30% below major brands price.

Would you do it?

There are several local guys here in south Florida that are licensed to reload and sell ammo, and they don't sell at 20-30% less than major brands. The small savings of 5-10% in cost that they offer is not worth the possible chance of having a problem and the lack of any recourse in the event of a major problem. My well being and my guns are worth more to me than a $1 or $2 savings on a box of ammo. I'll stick with the major manufacturers/suppliers.

I would look at his setup if possible and get a few references if possible. If satisfied then YES. If no, then you've only lost a little time. Ask if he'll GIVE u some samples to try. That's a stretch, but who knows.JMO

thats a real iffy question, + 1 on references, but id prefer to roll my own.

If you're talking about delta precision then I would by the ammo. It would help if we knew who/what company you're referring to.

My hunting ammo i buy,,all my picking is reloads i get from a guy in al. never had a problem,,but his r not reloads,,,""remanufactur-ed"""according to him i never question him,he's got over a 100,000 rounds :whaaa:

I would try it. But, I am reloading my own so I know they can't compete with the cost!

If he is licensed, bonded, and insured ... I would probably give it a try IF I did not reload my own ...
