I don't know all the details but a Yazoo officer was shot in the early morning hours this morning. From what I can gather he was on call at a night club in Yazoo when it occured. I do not know exactly how it occured. The officer under went surgery this morning and is reportedly in stable condition at a Jackson hospital. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. He has been with the force for about 3-4 years.

Things like this are what give gun owners a bad reputation. Some idiot with a gun whether he owned it legally or not decided to use that gun in a bad way.

It is now being said he was off duty when the incident occurred. Supposedly the suspect has been arrested and is now in custody. Nothing has been said about what happened that started the incident and nothing has been said as to whether or not the officer was moonlighting as security at the club(lot of LEOS here moon light as security) or was a patron of the club. All that I have heard said is that he was shot multiple times.
