We all have just so much money to spend on ammunition. Reloading just increases the number of rounds per buck.

Well, I may have to disagree!! Seems that since I started reloading it got much easier to justify spending MORE money by shooting much more, buying more guns in different calibers, buying the nice to have newest reloading gimmicks, and stockpiling reloading components.

I can remember owing a 12 ga and a 1911 - life was so much simpler back then!! :lol:

There is definitely a HUGE pride factor in shooting well with a weapon you assembled and ammo you produced. That is the best part of reloading to me.

Me too. Now I'm feeling the urge to stockpile, but that's interfering with my plan to build a 6.8

Shooting automatics has desensitized me to ammo cost, amounts etc.
