Sometimes you have to make your own specialty tools. I made this for a specific firearm repair job. There are probably a few here that know what I needed it for. Make your guess.

I thought Deadeye would be the one to know which shotgun it was needed for. I made this tool to fit and remove the "closing spring tube" of a Winchester Model 50. I needed to remove the butt stock and that tube is recessed in the stock; screws on to the receiver extension. A picture of the necessary tool is in Brownells' Encyclopedia of Modern Firearms. I enjoyed making the tool as much as working on the shotgun. Thanks for all the guesswork.

I don't remember owning or working on a Model 50. It will probably work on other guns also. I have a simple buttstock tool I made and still use , but mine does not look as nice as this one. You do excellent work.
