My Mosin Nagant Build. Cut barrel length down from 29" to 25" crowed and threaded the barrel for the custom Built Muzzle Brake "The Hunt" from SAS tactical. Timney trigger set at 3 pounds. ATI scope mount. Sightmark 8.5x25x50 scope. Boyd's feather weight thumbwhole stock. The rear sight was removed and put the barrel on a lathe to remove the molded dove tail. The bolt was sent off to maxshepherdboltproducts.com and was done low profile, 2.7'' handle length with 10 degree sweep angle and a satin finish. C

I've seen 2-3 inch groups at 500 yards. Surplus ammo and the original old sites aren't as accurate but are surprisingly accurate for what your getting. With all the mods, scope, muzzle brake and new trigger it definitely made this WW2 rifle an accurate/fun and inexpensive sniper rifle to shoot. Now building one up like this you could just about buy out right a Remington 700 sps. But it wouldn't have been as much fun or make the wife half as mad. LOL
