Whats the word on these from those of you who have bought, shot or otherwise had any interaction or read any reviews on this cool looking new Ruger. I own two 10/22 rifles and have always been more than pleased with them. I have always enjoyed any and all Ruger products that I have owned or shot. The reason I ask is my son is interested in one for Christmas possibly and I have priced one at my local shop and can get it for $325.00 plus tax. (Might have to get two :cool2g: )

Go for it. I love mine. Go on youtube and search it, there are tons of video reviews on them already. I got mine the first week they came out. Same as the regular stainless 10/22 except for the take down part which works perfectly. Don't worry about a scope staying zeroed because it does and always will the way it is designed.

Glad you posted this, just ordered one for my daughters birthday. got her the blue stock, stainless bbl, "USA Shooting Team Exclusive". She shoots mine like crazy, so I think she'll love this one and it'll be easier for her to store and transport.

I'm going with the Primary arms 1-4x scope and Primary arms mount. I think it will be short enough to fit in the bag. If not, I'll use that scope on something else.

I'm also changing out the rail that came with 10/22 to a picatinny so I have more options. If the scope is too long, I'll mount a mini red dot.

Edit: Woohoo, post 4000.

Well, the scope will fit back in the bag, but my mount is too high. Gonna try some lower rings.

The scope might be too nice for the 10/22 so it might end up on an AR.
Ive had good luck with my BSA Sweet 22 3-9x40mm AO scope on my standard 10/22 carbine but I wish I had gone with a shorter one. What kinda rings did you go with? Quick release?

I went back to the ruger rail. It allows me to see the iron sights with the scope off. It all fits back in the bag with the scope mounted. Haven't had a chance to zero it yet. The scope has a tiny red dot in the center so I can get the red-dot effect for plinking.
