Wow. February 1st will be six months for mine. I sure hope it does not take a year.

 

Sad part is the dealer is a month longer than me with a can. He is a dealer, wth???

 

My last SBR took 5.5 months. I picked it up in Nov 2012.

 

Call and check the status. In the past they have "lost" my stamps and I had to request certified copies. 6 months is about normal. A year is not.

 

6 months has been about the average time for me. Although it may get to be longer with all the noise lately.

 

i just got a can in november. 6 month wait for me.

 

Big Sexy you need to make some phone calls, ATF and/or your dealer. The long side of a wait should only be about 7 months, maybe 7.5, right now...

Average times for SBRs or Suppressors is 6 to 6.5 months.

Well checked on my paperwork today. It went pending august 29. Only 8 1/2 months after my papers were sent off. Maybe it will be my next christmas present. Wish there was somebody to call to get a fire lit under their asses. This is ridiculous.

 

Yeah it seems like forever...its probably buried under a pile of papers on a desk....They work'n hard I'm sure... :eyeroll:

Its best just to chill out and focus on something else....

I've said this before...to those of you sitting on the fence...if you want something requiring a form 4...might as well put in for it...you got plenty of time to get your money together for the item....

SBR= Short Barrel Rifle
Can= suppressor aka silencer

 

You have to file paperwork, pay a $200 tax and wait (normally) about 6 months then you get a stamp that shows you are legal to have said items in your possession.

It was sent around the beginning of jan. Cashed about 2 weeks later. Went pending august 29. They don't have an explanation why its taking so long.

I've seen them go from cashed to pending in a week.....and I've seen them go from cash to pending in 2 months. Government efficiency in action.
